If you have a found a baby wild mammal, it is important to determine if the animal really needs help. In some cases, it is normal for wild mothers to leave their young alone. Click here for species-specific information on potentially orphaned mammals.

In other cases, there are signs of illness or injury that indicate an animal needs rescuing.

If you have found an orphaned or injured small mammal, follow these interim instructions, call RVWS at 613-258-9480 or email us for an appointment and directions.
